What is EasyCell?

GROUNDBREAKING ENGRAVING TECHNOLOGY

ALE have launched our EasyCell engraving technology. EasyCell is a suite of enhancements to ALE laser engraving machines. EasyCell technology can be supplied as an upgrade to an existing machine or purchased with a new laser engraving system.

EasyCell technology makes engraving easier. This is achieved by reducing the number of choices a machine operator must make, as well as reducing the number of manual adjustments needed to be made from one engraving to the next. At DRUPA 2024 we will showcase this new capability by exhibiting a ceramic anilox roller with engravings from 25 LPI to 1200 LPI. This roller has been engraved automatically by the EasyCell technology without any operator intervention. This wide range of engravings represents the majority of anilox and coatings engravings, so now the majority of Anilox engravings can be made easier, faster and with less skilled operator intervention.

EasyCell technology makes manufacturing QC easier. This can be achieved by using EasyCell regularly to automatically engrave your standard range of engravings. Each month the same standard range can be engraved automatically, then you can confirm month on month that a machine is maintaining your quality standard.

ENHANCED EFFICIENCY

The EasyCell technology makes roller polishing easier. This is achieved because EasyCell engravings have less ceramic recast formed. Particularly for coating rollers, this makes the finishing process less time consuming, simply because less recast must be removed.

The EasyCell technology allows ink to release easily. This is achieved by the flatter bottom cell profile of the EasyCell technology, as compared to conventional Anilox cells, which have a more pointed profile.
