Our Machines
INTRODUCTION
ALE manufacture a range of seven high precision machine bed sizes, they are:
- Nano (0.8 metre)
- 1.5 metre
- 2.5 metre
- 3.5 metre
- 4.5 metre
- 5.5 metre
- 7.0 metre
The size of machine specifies the maximum roll face length a machine can engrave. The different sizes can accept various roller diameters between 300mm up to 1000mm and a selection of roller handling accessories are available for each different machine size. This is tailored to the customers’ end requirements.

Our standard issue Headstock and Active Tailstock issued for roller handling are suitable for cylinders up to 2,500kg in weight. Additional sizes are available on request, please contact us for further details.
